The Prophet (ﷺ) was called "the light of Allah" or "the light of Allah"
"The scholars are also human like us, they are not angels" is mostly a subtle deception of the devil; with which he tries to create a distance between the scholars and the common people. Rather, in some cases, the level of hatred and arrogance of the people towards the scholar is so severe that even his faith is lost. The first complaint of the infidel polytheists against all the prophets and messengers who have been sent to the world was, "Hey, you are just a human being like us." Rather, you are from our own tribe! They would not have been able to understand the difference between them and the prophets, even though they were of the same flesh and blood.
Ordinary Muslims should be aware that being educated and being a scholar are not the same. If we take the literal meaning of the word 'scholars', then everyone in the world is a scholar. Rather, in this sense, Iblis is the greatest scholar. In this sense, the Holy Quran also calls Jewish and Christian scholars scholars. Ordinary Muslims should know that, If everyone is the same in flesh and blood, then there should be no difference in the status of a peon and a Prime Minister. I don't feel the need to say more than that, for the sake of being wise.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The superiority of a scholar over a worshipper is like my superiority over the lowest of you. Now, if you say in a contemptuous tone, "Your masters are also human beings like us," then you are 100% likely to get into trouble. You will not see any difference between you and the scholar in outward appearance. You have to change your perspective. If you are a man, you will recognize the Prophet if you look at Abu Bakr. If you are a woman, you will recognize the Prophet if you look at Khadijatul Kubra. On the contrary, if you look at Abu Jahl and Abu Lahab, the Prophet will seem like you.
Similarly, in the case of a scholar. Raise your gaze to the height of Abu Bakr. You will find the legacy of the Prophet in the scholar. And if you look at him through the eyes of Inu, the scholar will seem smaller and inferior to you. Moreover, it is not logical to say that the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets separately. If the Huzoors were also human beings like us, we would all become the heirs of the Prophet! How funny, isn't it!? The above sentence is causing us another serious harm and that is that when we see the Huzoors with bad character, we often slander all the scholars. This is absolutely not right. It should be remembered: Just as disobedience to the Prophets is a danger for the infidels, disobedience to the Haqqani Ulama is a danger for the common people.
★1. Huzoor Purnur (ﷺ) - sees and hears everything. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “I hear what you do not hear and I see what you do not see.”
