Durood and Salaam: Benefits and Virtues
1. Mercy, Forgiveness, and Elevated Status
Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say:
"Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send ten blessings upon him."

In another narration, Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send ten blessings upon him, forgive ten sins, and raise him ten degrees."

2. Angels Seek Forgiveness for the Reciter
Amir ibn Rabi'ah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say:
"As long as a person sends blessings upon me, the angels continue to seek forgiveness for him."

3. Assured Intercession on the Day of Judgment

"Whoever recites this Durood, my intercession for him becomes obligatory."

4. Proximity to the Prophet on the Day of Judgment
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"On the Day of Judgment, the one who sends the most blessings upon me will be the closest to me."

5. Fulfillment of All Worldly and Hereafter Needs
Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"If you choose to dedicate all your supplications to sending blessings upon me, your needs will be fulfilled, your sins forgiven, and your desires granted."

6. Abundant Rewards for the Poor
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"If a Muslim is unable to give charity, let him say supplications, for it will be considered as charity for him."

7. Conveyance of the Ummah's Salaam to the Prophet
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"There are angels who convey the Salaam of my Ummah to me."

8. Supplications Without Durood Remain Suspended
Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
"As long as you do not send blessings upon your Prophet (peace be upon him), your supplications remain suspended between the heavens and the earth."
