The First Three People to Enter Hell:

The First Three People to Enter Hell:

  1. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"On the Day of Judgment, the first person to be judged will be one who was martyred. He will be brought forth, and he will say, 'I fought in the path of Allah until I was martyred.' Then Allah will say, 'You are lying! You fought rather so that people would call you brave.' Allah will then order that he be dragged face down and thrown into Hell."

Thus, anyone who dies for any reason other than the path of Allah—whether for national independence or obeying government orders—will not be considered a martyr, even if the world honors them with the title of "Hero of the Nation."

  1. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Then the judgment will be passed on a person who acquired and taught knowledge and studied the Quran. He will be brought forth, and Allah will remind him of His blessings, and he will acknowledge them. Then Allah will ask, 'What did you do in return for these blessings?'
He will reply, 'I acquired knowledge and taught it, and I studied the Quran for Your pleasure.'
Allah will say, 'You are lying! You sought knowledge so that people would call you a scholar and recited the Quran so that people would call you a reciter.'
Then Allah will order that he be dragged face down and thrown into Hell."

So, acquiring and spreading knowledge should be done solely for the pleasure of Allah, not for show or for degrees. Many study just to get high-ranking jobs, thinking that people will respect them more. But can humans truly grant honor? No! Allah clearly states in Surah Fatir that all honor belongs to Him alone.

Another important point is that in Muslim-majority countries, the education system should follow Islamic principles. While students memorize poems of the Hindu poet Rabindranath Tagore for worldly exams, why are Hadiths not taught in textbooks for the test that Allah has set for us? Many Muslim children today can recite the birth date and theories of Jewish scientist Albert Einstein but do not know the rules of life according to the Quran and Hadith.

Some families put so much pressure on their children for academic success that failing an exam leads some to commit suicide! Remember, scientists cannot say anything with absolute certainty. One scientist may say the Earth is round, while another may say it's flat, and textbooks change accordingly. Only Allah possesses absolute knowledge, and He grants it to whomever He wills.

Due to misleading scientific information, faith in the Creator is weakening among many Muslim children today. Children are a blessing from Allah. If you guide them towards Allah, you will be rewarded; if you misguide them, you will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment.

  1. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Then the judgment will be passed on a person to whom Allah granted wealth and prosperity. He will be brought forth, and Allah will remind him of His blessings, which he will acknowledge.
Then Allah will ask, 'What did you do in return for these blessings?'
He will reply, 'I spent my wealth in every way that You loved.'
Allah will say, 'You are lying! You spent so that people would call you generous.'
Then Allah will order that he be dragged face down and thrown into Hell."

Many establish charitable foundations under their own names, but their true intention is to reduce taxes or gain financial benefits. Thus, wealth should be spent in the path of Allah and for His pleasure. Allah says in the Quran, "Spend from what I have provided for you." He has given us crops, fruits, gold, and silver.

Now, a question arises: Can human-made paper currency (an unequal medium of exchange) be used for charity? Answer this question for yourself!

Additionally, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said that many Muslims will enter Hell because they considered minor sins insignificant and made them habitual. Allah states that those who neglect worship will enter Hell. The Prophet (peace be upon him) also said that the majority of Hell’s inhabitants will be women, which is why he encouraged women to give more charity.
