This world is passing away and the Hereafter is coming.

Narrated by Hazrat Jabir ibn Abdullah (RA). The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: إِنَّ أَخْوَفَ مَا أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتِي: الْهَوَى وَطُولَ الْأَمَلِ فَأَمَّا الْهَوَى فَيَصُدُّ عَنِ الْحَقِّ. وَأَمَّا طُولُ الْأَمَلِ فَيَصُدُّ عَنِ الْآخِرَةِ What I fear most about my Ummah is following desires and longing. Following desires leads people astray from the path of truth, and longing leads them to be heedless of the Hereafter. وَهَذِهِ الدُّنْيَا مُرْتَحِلَةٌ. وَهَذِهِ الْآخِرَةُ قَادِمَةٌ، وَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا بَنُونَ، فَكُونُوا بَنِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلَا تَكُونُوا مِنْ بَنِي الدُّنْيَا، فَإِنَّكُمُ الْيَوْمَ فِي دَارِ الْعَمَلِ، وَأَنْتُمْ غَدًا فِي دَارِ جَزَاءٍ وَلَا عَمَلَ The world is passing away and the Hereafter is (gradually) coming forward. And both have children. So be children of the Hereafter, not children of the world. Because today you are in a place where you have to do deeds. And tomorrow you will have to go to a place where you will get the reward or reward for your deeds but you cannot do deeds.
